Setting options for the program

You have several possibilities for adapting these PTV Map&Guide intranet to your own needs.

Note: You will only be able to access this function if you have been assigned the appropriate rights in the administration tool.

• In the title bar click on Settings.
  

The Settings window opens. A navigation tree is shown on the left-hand side, while you can set your specifications on the right.

General

In the general settings you set fundamental information, for example the currency used, the measurement system, the minimum wage or the display of help texts in the program.

Address search

Under address search you define how PTV Map&Guide intranet reacts when you enter addresses to be searched for.

Map

Here you define the general information for the map, such as the zoom behaviour on the map when an object is selected.

Route planning

Here you make general settings for route planning, such as the entry of a fixed departure or arrival time, which vehicles are shown in the list in route planning or whether stay duration at a stop-off point is classed as rest period and/or driving break.

Toll

All available toll scenarios are shown in a list here, which apply to the calculation of toll charges in route planning. All toll scenarios which are valid on that day can be displayed or a date can be freely selected.

Sent routes

If you use PTV Drive&Arrive's functions (see When will the goods arrive?), you can specify when the customer should receive messages about the status of the order here.
