Toll settings

This section describes which settings you can make when calculating toll charges.

Costs

Under Costs all toll scenarios are listed which are valid on the current date which are decisive when calculating the toll in the route planning.

Note: Important: When planning a route, toll scenarios are taken into consideration when calculating costs which are valid on the set departure date.

  • In the navigation tree, select the entry Toll > Costs.

  • Make the desired settings:

    Section and element Description
    Select validity date

    The list shows all active and inactive toll scenarios for the current date.

    You can enter another date or select using the calendar. The list is refreshed accordingly.

    All toll scenarios which are valid on this date are included in the calculation of toll charges in route planning.
    Show active toll scenarios option

    If the option is enabled, only toll scenarios which are active during the validity period are displayed.
    Show all toll scenarios option

    If the option is enabled, all available toll scenarios are displayed.

    Information on the toll scenario selected in the list is displayed here.

    For each toll scenario you can use the default values or assign a surcharge or discount on the toll of the scenario or for a country.

    Use default values option: The default values saved are used.

    Surcharge (percent) only for this scenario option: Entry of a surcharge or discount on the scenario toll.

    The surcharge or discount entered is valid only for this scenario.

    Note: If the scenario changes or is no longer available after the program or map is updated, the surcharge or discount no longer applies.

    Tip: If you click in the entry field, you can enter a comma value.

    Surcharge (percent) for all of the country's scenarios option

    The surcharge or discount entered is used for all of the country's scenarios.

    Note: When updating the program or the map, the surcharge or discount entered for the country still remains. This also applies if a scenario changes or is no longer valid.

    Tip: If you click in the entry field, you can enter a comma value.

    If you would like to assign a general surcharge or discount for a country, and yet wish to exclude an individual scenario from this, proceed as follows:

     

    • Firstly specify the surcharge or discount that is generally valid, using the Surcharge for all of the country's scenarios option.
    • For scenarios which are to be handled separately, specify the individual surcharge or discount via the Surcharge (percent) only for this scenario option.
