Address search settings

Here you will find out which settings can be made for the address search.

Requirements

Under Specifications you define when you wish to start the address search. It is also possible to define the desired coordinate system here.

 

  • In the navigation tree, select the entry Address search > Specifications.

  • Make the desired settings:

    Section Element and description
    Start address search

    Here you specify if the address search starts during entry or after the entry is confirmed by pressing return.
    Search for two-digit postcodes

    If the option is enabled, the address search is then also started if you enter only the first two digits of the postcode.

Results

Under Results you define how many addresses you wish to search for.

 

  • In the navigation tree, select the entry Address search > Results.

  • Make the desired settings:

    Section Element and description
    Number of hits

    Here you specify the maximum number of addresses you wish to find.
    Display district/country Here, you indicate whether the list of location suggestions should display only the found town or the town and all found districts/counties.
    Display state or region If this option is enabled, the state or region is displayed in the results list.
    Transfer search result to the entry field Specify here what happens if you click on a place in the results list.

 

Tip: If you wish to restore this window to factory settings, click Restore default
