Data Manager toolbar

The following functions are available in the Data Manager toolbar.

Element	Description
New database	Create a new database. More information can be found in the article Create database.
Record new address	Create an address. More information can be found in the article Creating an address. Note: This function will only be enabled once you have opened a database (see Open Database).
Automatic	Start automatic geocoding of the selected addresses. More information can be found in the article Post-geocoding of records. Note: This function is only enabled if you have opened a database (see Open Database).
Manual	Activates manual geocoding for the selected addresses. More information can be found in the article Post-geocoding of records). Note: This function is only enabled if you have opened a database (see Open Database).
Status	Displays the geocoding status.

Note: In addition to the general functions on the toolbar, functions for editing the database (see Managing databases) are available in the Administration tab and functions for editing the addresses are available in the tabs of the databases which have been opened (see Managing Addresses).
