Creating an address

• Open the database (see Open Database).

• Click on New Address.

  The New Data Record - <database name> window opens.

• Enter the location details for the new address.

  

  While entering your input, the suitable entry is searched for in the internal database of locations and the suggestions are shown in a list. If you move the mouse over one of the locations in the suggestions list, the location is shown on the map.

  You now have two possibilities for adopting the suggested location from the list:

   

  • Only adopt coordinates
    If this option is enabled, only the coordinates of the selected location are saved for the new address. Your entries in the fields Country, Postcode, Location, Suburb, Street and House Number are not changed.
  • Correct address
    If this option is enabled, the coordinates of the selected location are applied and the details in the fields Country, Postcode, Location, Suburb, Street and House Number are replaced by the location data from the location database.

• Enter the required data in the other fields.

• Confirm your entries with OK.
