Prepare data in an Excel® file

Tender+ in PTV Map&Guide expects an Excel® file with the file extension xlsx The file extension xlsx has been used for tables since Microsoft® Excel® 2007. xlsx stands for Excel Spreadsheet XML, Excel tables in XML format. or xls The xls file extension refers to the older, binary file format of Excel® (up to version 2003). for the calculation.

• The format of the Excel® file is fixed.

• You can download a template file at the start of the import.

• If you want to calculate routes with two stops (A-B routes), you can enter a route ID as well as two stops per line.

Proceed as follows:

Select the <Tender+> entry in the application menu. The use case Tender+ opens in a new tab.
Click on the <New calculation> button. The wizard for importing an Excel® file opens.
In step 1 "Data selection", click <Download template> The template is downloaded to your computer. Open the template in Microsoft Excel®.

A-B routes

You can enter routes with two stops line by line.

Fill in the template with the desired stations. You can enter the following values for each line:

Note: Coordinate system The coordinates must be specified either in WGS 84 WGS 84 (World Geodetic System 1984) is the global reference system for determining positions on Earth and the basis for GPS. It defines uniform geographic coordinates: positions are specified by geographic longitude and latitude (decimal degrees or degrees/minutes/seconds) and an altitude relative to the ellipsoid. 4. Once you have entered all the stops, save and close the Excel® file.
