Costs

In order to be able to calculate the costs incurred for a planned route as accurately as possible, PTV Map&Guide works with cost profiles. Each profile contains settings for the criteria according to which the route costs are to be calculated. For example, route costs per kilometer can either be calculated from the fuel consumption of a vehicle or specified as fixed. Costs can also be calculated from time factors or fixed route costs can be entered. Each cost profile can be linked to one or more vehicle profiles.

Note: A cost profile can be assigned to several vehicles. However, it is not possible to assign several cost profiles to one vehicle.
