Editing stop-off points

A stop-off point can be edited and various details can be defined.

  • In the list of stop-off points, double-click a stop-off point.

The Edit stop-off point details window opens.

A navigation tree is shown on the left hand side while the settings are made on the right.

You have the following options:

Tip: You can edit several stop-off points simultaneously. In the list of stop-off points highlight the stop-off points concerned and open the Edit stop-off point details window by double-clicking or via Edit > Change.

Modifying addresses

In the window Edit stop-off point details a stop-off point's address can be changed.

Tip: It is quicker to change the address data by clicking the stop-off point in the list of stop-off points and changing the address in the entry field.

  • In the navigation tree, select the entry Address.

    The Address page opens.

  • Select the desired country from the list if necessary.

Tip: A preset country is best if you are only performing national transports. This makes the search for addresses quicker.

  • In the entry field Addresses enter the postal data of the stop-off point.

Note: Comply with the sequence postcode town, street house number and always separate the street with a comma!

While entering the details, a list of suggested locations opens.

Tip: In the settings you can specify that the address search should only begin once Return has been clicked (see Address search settings).

  • Select the required location.

  • Confirm your entries with Accept.

Entering pickup or delivery quantity

Notes: If you enter a pickup and delivery quantity at stop-off points, sequence optimisation is not possible.
It is not possible to enter pickup and delivery quantities for vehicles of the type Car.

  • In the navigation tree, select the entry Load.

    The Cargo page opens.

  • Enter the amount of tonnes for pickup or delivery at the stop-off point.

  • Enter the appropriate load code if the load is categorised as hazardous goods.

Note: If you enter a load code, the appropriate tunnel restrictions are taken into account in the route planning. The load code remains valid until the end of the trip or until the next stop-off point at which you enter a different load code.

  • Confirm your entries with Accept.

Note: If you enter pickup and delivery at stop-off points, the load is automatically included in the route planning (see Specifying settings for route planning).

Entering times

For every stop-off point a stay time or time slot (for example opening hours) can be entered.

Note: Time slots are only included in the route planning if the Time slot routing parameter is enabled (see Specifying settings for route planning).

  • In the navigation tree, select the entry Times.

    The Times page opens.

  • Specify the how long the stay at the stop-off point lasts.

  • Enter whether the stay must be within the set time slots.

  • Enter whether time slots need to be observed at the stop-off point.

  • If the stop-off point can only be driven to on a particular date, you can enter the date.

  • Confirm your entries with Accept.

Tip: If you wish to plan a stay time at every stop-off point, a default stay time can be defined in the settings. This is then valid for all stop-off points (see This is then valid for all stop-off points (see Stop-off points).

Changing the Type of Stop-Off Point

You can specify whether a stop-off point is a stop-off point or a via-point.

Note: A via point is not directly driven to, it serves as a guideline for the route.

  • In the navigation tree, select the entry Type of stop-off point.

The Type of stop-off point page opens.

  • Enter the type of stop-off point.

Note: For every via point the radius can be defined around which the stop-off point should be driven. Define the default setting in Settings (see Stop-off points).

  • Confirm your entries with Accept.

inserting comment

Comments can be added to stop-off points which are displayed in the itinerary after route calculation.

  • In the navigation tree, select the entry Comment.

    The Comment page opens.

  • Enter a comment on the stop-off point.

  • Confirm your entries with OK.

Enter stop-off point costs

You have the option to assign costs to a stop-off point. For example, this might make sense if the vehicle always needs to be cleaned at this stop-off point.

The costs entered here impact on cost calculation and price finding.

  • In the navigation tree, select the entry Costs.

The Costs at the stop-off point page opens.

  • Enter the costs incurred.

  • If necessary, provide more information on the costs incurred.

  • Confirm your entries with OK.
