Output details of a route as a report

Once a route has been calculated, the details of the route (distances, times, costs, emissions) are displayed in the right-hand pane.

To make this information usable outside of PTV Map&Guide, you can also export it as a detailed report. You can either

  • download the report as a PDF file, e.g. to send it by e-mail

  • print it out, e.g. as documentation for the driver or dispatcher

  1. To export the route calculation as a report, click on the <Report> button below the route details.

  2. The route details are then prepared as a PDF document.

  3. The report is then displayed as a preview.

The report has a landscape format and is divided into the following sections:

  1. Map: This area shows the route (blue) on a map. A map section suitable for the landscape format and the map style previously selected in the map view are used.

  1. Stops: This area lists the stops on the route. In addition to the addresses, the results of the settings for the individual stops are displayed as columns:

    • Arrival

    • Departure

    • Stay

    • Travel time from the starting point

    • Driving time

    • Distance traveled from the starting point

    • Distance traveled from the previous stop

    • Loading/unloading at the stop

  1. Details: This area displays the following information:

    • Route: Start and end point as well as date and start time of the route

    • Profiles: The vehicle and cost profile selected for the route calculation.

    • Distances: The distance traveled during the route and its toll section

    • Costs: The total cost of the route, toll costs and route costs per hour (according to the cost profile)

    • Times: The total travel time, the proportion of travel time and the proportion of other times (service time, waiting time, etc.)

    • Other: The cost of ferries or trains, number of stops on the route and fuel price (according to cost profile)

In addition to the usual PDF preview functions of your browser, the functions <Download> for saving the PDF file and <Close> are also available.
