Settings

In this module you can make basic settings for PTV Map&Guide.

Further information can be found in the sections below:

In the “General“ area you choose:

  • The language of the user interface

  • The currency for the costs in the route calculation

You can use the <Show all hints again> button to reactivate hints that you have deactivated.

In the “Emissions” area, you select the emission standard for route calculation. Depending on the standard selected, you can adjust the following options:

In the “Place names” section, you can specify the language in which the map is displayed:

  • Product language: The language set under “General” is used. In addition, place names are displayed using the terms commonly used in the respective local language and script.

  • Latin (transliterated): Place and country names are displayed only in Latin transliteration. For names that do not require transliteration, the English name is displayed.

You can adjust the following options in the "Routing" area:

  • Service time: By activating this switch, you can set a default service time for all new stops in your routes.

    • As long as the switch is activated, all new stops in your routes will receive this service time (which can be adjusted manually at the stop if necessary).

    • As soon as you deactivate this switch or change its value, all new stops receive the changed value or no value for the service time

    • The setting of this switch does not affect existing stops in your routes.

    • Clicking the “Reset” button deletes the entered value.

  • Time slots: By activating this switch, you can define a default time slot for all new stops in your routes.

    • As long as the switch is activated, all new stops in your routes receive this time slot (which can be adjusted manually at the stop if necessary).

    • As soon as you deactivate this switch or change its value, all new stops receive the changed value or no value for the time slot.

    • The setting of this switch does not affect existing stops in your routes.

    • Clicking the “Reset” button deletes the entered value.
Note: Click on <Reset to default values> to undo your changes.
