The user profile

Edit your user profile:

  1. Click the profile icon in the top right to open your user profile. If you have not yet uploaded a profile picture, your initials are used in the profile icon.

  1. After clicking on the profile icon, the profile menu opens with the following options:

    • Buttons

      • to log out and

      • To access the profile settings

    • Your name and profile picture

    • Applications and subscriptions registered for your MyPTV-ID

    • Links to imprint, terms of use and data protection

  2. Click the gear icon to get to the settings of your profile.

  1. In this window, the information about your user profile is listed.

  1. You can adjust some of this information as required:

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Company name

    • Language in which the MyPTV platform is displayed

    • Profile picture

Set up two-factor authentication

You can activate the two-factor authentication in the “Authenticator” area. To do this, scan the QR code with an authentication app and confirm with the one-off code. As soon as the two-factor authentication is set up, this is displayed in the settings.

From now on you will be asked in addition to your MyPTV ID to enter a one-off code that was generated by your authentication app.

You can remove the two-factor authentication at any time in the settings by clicking on the Löschen icon.

Delete account

If you no longer wish to use PTV Map&Guide and any other products in the MyPTV platform, you can delete your account. You will then be directed to the MyPTV login page, where you have to confirm the deletion by entering your login data.
