Road types on the map

Below you will find a description of the road types which are shown on the map.

Note: The map style Classic is used in the examples. If you use a different map style (see Functions in the map), the colours of the roads may be different.

 

Display	Example	Description
		Motorways
		Trunk roads/Main roads
		District road/Rural road
		Residential street
		Footpath, cycle track or forest trail
For routes with restricted or forbidden passages, permitted exceptions are shown on the map in the following colours.
	Access for deliveries
	Residents only (cars)
	Residents only, (cars and HGVs)
	Routes for which more than one permitted exception exist, e.g. access for deliveries and residents only (passenger cars).
