Create group

In the navigation tree, select the User management entry > Groups.

Click on the toolbar > area Group on New
The New group window opens.

Make the desired settings.

Assigning rights
In the Rights tab, you define which rights are available for users of this group.

Deselect the rights that should not be available.
Define access to address types
In the Address types tab, specify how the addresses are to be displayed in PTV Map&Guide internet. The addresses are displayed on the map and can be searched.

Mark in the Active column the address types to be displayed in PTV Map&Guide internet.
Note: For address types provided by the system, only read access is possible. In your own databases created in PTV Map&Guide internet, you can choose the type of access (No access, Read-only, Read and write, Full access) in the Access column.
Set access to vehicles
In the Vehicles tab, set which vehicles are available for selection in the route planning in PTV Map&Guide internet.

Mark in the Active column the vehicles which are to be displayed in PTV Map&Guide internet.
Assigning users
In the User tab, you can assign users to a group.

On the right, mark the users that should be assigned to the group.

Click on .
The selected users are assigned to the group.

Confirm your entries with OK.
