Change status or group

 

The can edit the status and the assigned group of a user or several users.

 

• Select the users in the list, whose status or group you wish to edit.

• Click on edit status/group.

  The Edit status/group window opens.

• Select the desired entry from the Status selection list.

  You have the option of assigning three different statuses to a user.

   Active: The user may use PTV Map&Guide internet for an unlimited period of time.

   Non-active: The user has been created, but cannot use PTV Map&Guide internet. Non-active users do not require a licence.

   Active until <Date>: Access for a limited period of time. The user may use PTV Map&Guide internet until the date specified. After the date, the user is deactivated and the licence is once again available.

  Important: In the administration tool you can create as many users as you wish; however, the number of users activated to use PTV Map&Guide internet cannot exceed the number of licences available.

• Select the desired entry from the Group selection list.

• Confirm your selection with OK.
